Secured with OAuth 2.0. Claude gets a connection token scoped to your account — it never sees your password, and you can revoke access anytime in OpenGrants → Developer settings.

Fixes for common issues
Most setup hiccups are a missing /mcp in the URL or an incomplete Allow step. Here’s how to self-serve.
The connector won’t add, or the URL is rejected
/mcp: https://mcp.opengrants.io/mcp. Custom connectors require a Claude plan that supports them — if Add custom connector isn’t available, your Claude plan may not include it yet. If it gets stuck, remove the connector and add it again.It keeps asking me to sign in, or the Allow screen loops
Search returns nothing
Claude says I need to upgrade for matching or eligibility
